Ok in the day. Wouldn't want to walk alone. Lots of incidents have occurred in the last few years. Nice open space. Don't go there at night. It's known as a dogging site. Or if you do go at night stay out the bushes. Ok...More

Southampton Common is vast and has all the facilities a park should have. great for picnics or a pub lunch, great for kids of all ages and ideal if you want to work out and lose a few pounds

a cheap day with kids and A GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP FOR ALL so much space and open air.i took a picnic for us. we played ,walked and soaked up the common a whole day out ,for free

I have had so many picnics here over the years, I think its got a little of everything to suit everyones needs. Worth a walk around if you are in the area.

Somewhere to watch the sun shimmer on a winters morning. Good for walking and nice playground for the younger ones. I'd avoid going after dark though and the number of rats in autumn and spring time is horrible

Large open space , sometimes used for events, and fun fairs. Good area for children to run around ,plus you can cycle ,(so be aware of fast moving bikes) cafe and pub near or on site. Note you can park in some car parks nearby,...More

Went for a family walk with in-lows and was excellent plenty of space to seat and relax also enjoyed " peace and quiet "
