Lovely open space

What a lovely park. Plenty of open space for all to use. There's an athletics track, dry ski slope, kids play area (x2), bmx track, mini golf plus plenty of grass areas for... read more

😏 What makes this place ok is its location with the attractions all around it. Looking at it through the eyes of my 6 year old I can see why he loves it, which child doesn't like an amusement park, then again as an adult you would thrown upon the state of the equipment.

Visited here for an event that had us running all over this park. What a lovely area, great to run around. Decent paths and lots to do. A small kids rides area although this was closed, various cricket/football/enclosed areas, dry ski slope area, a bistro/bar, the orienteering event which I believe was trailing a permanent orienteering set up that will... What a lovely park. Plenty of open space for all to use. There's an athletics track, dry ski slope, kids play area (x2), bmx track, mini golf plus plenty of grass areas for picnics and other sports. There are toilets although they are nothing to write home about. There is also an area with kids rides suitable for younger kids.

I recently went to The View following on from a funeral. I was pleasantly surprised, the interior has been updated since my previous visit. We were guided to a large room behind the scenes, what an asset to have. Parking was so easy too. The food was spot on, there were sandwiches, sausage rolls, chicken drumsticks, chips, crisps, pizza and... More

Took my little one to the sports centre to burn off some energy. They have two play parks (jacks corner being the better one) my little one loves it and we went to the pleasure park it is old and out dated but if its not broke dont fix it. And its popular there is also many fields for kids... More

Despite the financial constraints the centre continues to provide a wide range of sporting facilities of a good standard including an athletics track and a ski slope. There are many dedicated supporters of the facilities and events organised for school holidays etc. I have taken my children and grandchildren to the Children's Pleasure Park which has changed very little in... My house nearly back onto this facility. I've lived here for about 45 years. This place was built just prior to WW2 as a public facility with a nice Art Deco pavilion at the top of the site, woodland, open grass areas, pitches, astro turf, hard tennis courts, busy dry ski slope, crazy golf, putting, changing rooms, toilets, athletics, cyclo... The funfair at the sport centre is very old fashioned and a bit shabby but young children still love it! The ski centre offers ringo sessions which my children love. Lots of open space for walks here too.

I went to a friends birthday party here , and found the attraction fun . One thing i would say to the staff is they need to be more friendly not just thinking about there next break. Though i would say that everyone would enjoy this .
