Just spent 7 hours here and had to be kicked out at the end! Arrived at 10:15 and managed to get one of the last few spaces so worth arriving early. Booked online so got 10% off and the planetarium show at a much better price. Also got £1 off per person to spend in the cafe or shop as... More

We arrived at 10 so we could park easily having booked on line. At half term it is a bit chaotic and some parents are oblivious to either controlling the kids or appreciating others waiting behind to try something but overall it was a good half day. There could be better explanations of the science but are grandson enjoyed the... More

Don't believe first impressions, which are of a chaotic indoor play place. There are loads of hands on activities for kids, interesting exhibits and videos. Despite it feeling busy (it was half term) we never had to wait more than a couple of minutes for anything and mostly no queue at all. The films were great, particularly the one on... More

Really good fun day out Reasonably priced a good variety for activities for the kids to kill a couple of hours The Planetarium show is an absolute must though , it's only an extra few quid and is well worth the price

My visit with my daughter (6 yrs)nd her friend was excellent. The hands on exhibits make kids learn science in a child friendly manner. There is enough to exite kids and adults with different choices. Yhe half term light show was excellent and so was the live planetarium show. Excellet place to visit with kids. Will definitely come again.

We pre-booked our tickets online and I would recommend it. Maybe it's because we visited during half term but it was busy and having our tickets reduced our waiting time and the price significantly. It is a great place for kids of all ages. Two levels of interactive science experiments for the kids to try out. From building Lego space... More

We spent a super morning at the Science Park. Exhibits were all hands on or interactive in some way. We particularly enjoyed the walk through colon and the air pressure parachutes. We used the restaurant and found it well-stocked and clean. Some of the exhibits looked a bit tired and we would have welcomed more information for example on the... More

Spent the day there with my niece and great niece. A bit of confusion over parking. Website indicated that during school holidays we should use the park and ride. When we got there the site was deserted and the bus drivers said we should probably save time by going back to main car park. P&E was down a muddy track.... More

Yesterday visited Winchester Science Museum with daughter and grandchildren. It was well attended by similar families. Very well organised and when arrived the car park was full but not to worry it was all taken care of by a free park and ride service especially for the Museum. All very efficient and did not have long to wait for a... More

I can see how this would be a good rainy day activity for children, however I wouldn't recommend it for adults. All of the exhibits and displays are pitched very low, many of them with no explanation at all (apart from instructions on how to use the exhibit). Some of the displays were quite tatty. At £12 each for an... More
