Winchester Science Centre & Planetarium is an interactive hands-on Science Centre with 100 hands-on science exhibits plus also the UK's largest capacity digital planetarium. Most of the exhibits have been made by the in-house Workshop Team, in conjunction with partners such as Universities and industry. Exhibits, shows and events all year round for adults and children. Open 7 days a week. Ticket options: day tickets for the Hands-on Exhibition and tickets for planetarium shows may be bought separately or as a bundle deal. Family saver offer for those visiting with children. Winchester Science Centre is an independent charity reliant on ticket income. All funds received are reinvested in the activities of the charity which includes construction of new exhibits and daily maintenance of the current exhibit stock, education visits and workshops, mobile planetarium and outreach, events for adults including singles nights - and upkeep of the building.

Not sure about Saturday as I haven't been on a Saturday. The last time I went I didn't have access but they sell lots of different types of tickets and events so maybe best to ring them?

There is a very clear theme to the responses given by staff to either the poor or terrible reviews. The majority of responses at best ignore the complaints and are simply used as a way of the centre batting off critism or at worst the replies are simply rude and unprofessional, often from persons in a position which simply requires understanding and diplomacy. I don't know how much credit and or time you give or put into Trip Advisor reviews, but considering you have signs asking customers to specifically take the time to do it the very least you could do is give them due credit and consideration and never resort to inapropriate/ rude and or dismissive replies or responses. If you do not know what I mean then I suggest you review your own responses to reviews! Here is my question to you, considering just how many of your reviews are negative, approx' 1/3 and that the majority of those centre around exhibits being broken, not doing what they are meant to, refuting your estimate of just how many exhibits are working, the whole centre looking and feeling run down now and tatty. Etc etc.......when are you going to stop the pointless generic replied and actually realise that action is required and to act accordingly? It does show a certain amount of deniel of the facts and refusal to deal, why? James Surrey
