What a brilliant way to spend a couple of hours. Great tea room, Mappa Mundi and chain library, all worth a visit not to mention the Cathedraol itself.

We spent a good few hours in Hereford Cathedral (preferred it to Worcester), as there is so much to see, and we enjoyed a very good and reasonably priced tour at the start of our visit. There are so many lovely features at Hereford but...More

We were in Hereford for the weekend and were drawn back again and again to the beautiful cathedral. The cafe offers lovely food and if you're lucky enough to hear the choir, definitely take time stop and listen.

A classic English Cathedral, that has been loved for centuries. Rebuilt and refurbished as needed, it stands a tribute to the faith and loyalty of Hereford. Also housing the Chained Library and the Mappa Mundi, it is a real treasure. The display is educational and...More

Hereford cathedral was interesting and the new stained-glass windows which can be found in a chapel to the right of the altar are a 'must see,' breathtakingly beautiful.

Just to clarify my original answer. Office staff will look after your dog while you look round the cathedral "during office hours" so may not be 9-5.
