I’m biased as I was brought up in Herefordshire and recently moved back. That said, this is a lovely, solid feeling cathedral made of warm toned sandstone and currently free of the cloak of scaffolding that was ever-present when I was younger. The Mappa Mandi...More

We spent hours in here over 2 days, marvelling at the stained glass and the church interiors. Unlike many cathedrals, Hereford Cathedral is sort of cosy, not stuffy - interesting nooks and crannies, and some of the best stained glass that you could see anywhere...More

As with all Cathedrals there is a lot of local history and wonderful stained glass windows. Photographs are allowed, no flash, and entrance is free.
