We have spent a fantastic afternoon at Eastnor pottery with Jon & his team for my dad's 70th birthday. We wanted an activity to suit and inspire all ages and they didn't disappoint. The pottery studio itself, is a beautiful creative space and the team guided us through making pinch pots/creatures, unphased by there being grandparents, adults, teens and tots... More

Such a pleasure to welcome you and your lovely family to the studio on Saturday - You all made some excellent creations and as for the pack of huskies!!! We too consider the afternoon was a huge success, on so many levels. Putting aside the rampant creativity flowing through fingers, Eastnor proved to be the perfect midway destination for the... Attended the one day workshop at the weekend. It was great fun. Highly recommend it. The staff were great, so helpful and patient! Teas & coffees plus biscuits on arrival and through out the day. Lovely lunch provided. It was a very warm welcoming and creative atmosphere. If I lived nearer I would be attending more workshops. And the great... More

Thank you Cardinal! (great handle by the way) and super pots! It was a lively session on Saturday with all nine of you pottery novices pushing the clay around the potter's wheel with confidence and flair. The pots left here at the studio to be fired and glazed certainly are a testament to your new found pottery prowess. Hope to... More

An excellent craft activity with facilities and tuition for the beginner and wheels and kilns available to hire for the more advanced who haven't got their own facilities i.e. most of us. Friendly staff and a lovely setting out in the lovely village of Eastnor. I personally had a great day there with my first go on a potters wheel... More

Hello MrStripeyOss and thank you for taking the time to review your Eastnor Pottery experience. As you so expertly demonstrated, making a pot on the potter's wheel is one of those 'riding a bike' things and potters usually take off exactly where they left off - even if 37 years have elapsed since they last wrestled the mucky stuff! Well... More

I took my 25 year old daughter as a birthday treat. It was on her 'to do' list. We had a great time. We went on the potters wheel. Full instruction was given and we both completed a pot! Well worth the visit.

Thanks Sally - the paint job on your fabulous pots looked amazing when they were freshly decorated! I think we are all as excited about seeing the glazed effect probably just as much as you are. See you again soon. More

Spent a fabulous morning with a group of 12 girls as part of my sister's hen weekend. We each paid £25 for a workshop which included taking turns on the potters' wheels and hand-modelling all kinds of crazy creations using the pinch pot technique. From penguins to planes and cupcakes to cats, we got stuck into moulding then painted our... More

Thank you Jon for a brilliant 2 days. I would highly recommend coming on your course and really pleased we did the whole weekend as we made some wonderful creations. I had so much fun, getting splattered with clay, making unusual shaped pots and eating a delicious lunch. The individual attention was great and the pace of learning was perfect.... More

Eastnor Pottery is set in a beautiful rural location. We enjoyed learning about clay and understanding the techniques to create our lovely product. Staff were amazing and we look forward to another workshop in the future. Thank you all.
