I parked at Reculver towers and decided to do the route backwards so that I had the flatter ride in the second half. First surprise was the cost of the parking. Both the old car park right by the towers and the new large car...More

Rode the roue from Birchington to Herne Bay, and from Birchington to Botany Bay. Superb views across the sea, interesting places to visit and plenty of wildlife to spot as well. We quite understand why some parts of the route cannot be ridden in the...More

A great cycling trip. 32 miles following beautiful coast and crosding the countryside. You can download a GPS map of the trail from the Internet and just follow it. A great fun.

We walked Birchington to Reculver and back - took all morning. Very easy to follow and excellent surface - concrete or tarmac. There is bike hire at Birchington. Peaceful, and teeming with wildlife - take binoculars!

I was looking for a coastal walk to do with my Mum who is in an electric wheelchair. This path is fantastic, flat concrete and easily accessible. We joined the path at St. Mildred's Bay and walked into Margate and back again. We found toilets...More

When the weather is right, there really is nothing to beat an English summer's afternoon spent cycling around the beautiful Kent coast. With the exception of a few short inclines the route (waymarked as national route 15) is largely flat and so would suit family...More
