We walked this Garden from the West Gate Towers towards the Norman Castle ruins and wall, we found it to be just a nice place to walk and spend some time away from the main street.

While this is a beautiful walk I'm sure in Summer, it is pleasant in the Winter. There are many interesting turns in the gardens- it's free too. Makes a nice break if you need to be outside for a bit too.

A lovely journey to make. At the west site of the majestic city of Canterbury, this beautiful and peaceful garden is a delight for senses. I recommend it for families with children, as it has a really nice place for them to play.

You would never know you were in the middle of the small City of Canterbury. Beautifully well kept formal flower beds, lovely natural areas and the river Stour running alongside.

We were spending the day in Canterbury and took Bracken our dog for a walk first. This was a lovely walk along the river and through the gardens, very peaceful with lovely old buildings, ducks and planted areas.
