The beach can be very windy if you are not lucky to get there on a sunny day. But on a sunny day the view of English channel, the ships docking every minute and seagulls make it very special.

Nice pebble filled beach with good views of the castle and the cliffs. The start/finish line for those swimming across the English channel was also there, kind of fun to see.

Walked the dogs on the stoney beach, the area was clean with lots of seating. There was a sign up saying no swimming though, which was a shame.
