First time visit since the penguins arrived. Amazing birds fascinating to watch, they queued up patiently to be fed, better mannered then some humans. 3D images of ancient sea creatures captivating. Light lagoon not reopened yet. Well worth revisiting get good value with the year long ticket. Grandchildren 10/7 loved it. They not too interested on the first bit along the... More

Excellent value, can use the entrance tickets again this year if we are near here again, we started with lunch in the cafe which was really good value then you gradually work your way down the exhibits, massive fish, ghento penguins and general information on the oceans etc well worth the entrance fee

We went to The deep first thing Saturday morning . It was lovely , we spent ages watching the jellyfish , and penguins, sadly the lagoon was closed, but the visit was still worth while. Theirs plenty to do , for younge and old . Allow yourself plenty of time :)

Waited ages to visit here but found it lacking in all areas. It was very busy but the 'crew' were nowhere to be seen. Lots of the hands on activities were broken, others not working at all. Some exhibits were barriers off and there were no signs indicating this until you're in and paid. The penguins look a bit lethargic... More

Our grandchildren loved seeing the penguins on the ice, they are actually members of Chester Zoo so they do see penguins quite often but not on ice and they really liked watching them. They also thoroughly enjoyed the open tanks and being able to touch some of the sea creatures. Also having an annual pass as an almost standard is... More

Myself (25) and my boyfriend (28) went to The Deep as a weekend outing on a rainy Sunday afternoon and we absolutely loved it. Found it a little strange that they ask to take your picture, we thought maybe it was some gift shop picture opportunity but unfortunately not. We were given a ticket so not sure what this was... The Deep is one of my favorite places in Hull (by the way they are offering now annual pass, so it is even better). Lots to see and do. My 6 year old loves it. It is very informative, brilliant education. When going back, if you can - don't take lift that goes up via the aquarium. The experience is... More
