Fort Paull is the only fully intact Napoleonic Fortress in the North....

Fort Paull is the only fully intact Napoleonic Fortress in the North. Covering 10 acres of land this Museum is full of Underground tunnels and rooms, fantastic exhibits and on most weekends throughout the Summer, fantastic displays and events. The Fort is also the home of the worlds only surviving Blackburn Beverley Aircraft. There is also a fully licenced bar and tea rooms on site.

When we visited this attraction I was saddened to see how poor the upkeep was. I have always enjoyed previous times here. If I lived closer I would certainly volunteer .to help bring it up to a better standard. Still for of this we had a good time here, the lady receptionist was very helpful. There are facilities for refreshments... More

Poor Fort Paull, could have been lovely but in dire need of updating, the displays are years old, manequin's are filthy and moth bitten, no staff around to help visitors. Some parts I found quite dangerous with concrete steps so eroded that bits were falling off, no handrails going down into many exhibits, just bits of rope tied to a... More

It was a really good experience. The staff member who welcomed us was very polite, friendly and informative. Gave clear directions of the experience to expect. It is such a good visit but the only thing I would upgrade and the information sheets and mahicans. They really bring down the experience due to them look very fragile and not giving... More

Decided to visit Fort Paull after promising to do so for years. We were pleasantly surprised by the admission price of £6.50 for adults despite it being a special event day. The Fort was built on the banks of the Humber during the Napoleonic Wars but has been rebuilt four times since. This is an interesting place to visit, but... More

This Fort goes back to ancient times but was instrumental in protecting the Humber Ports during the Second World Wars, Lots of interesting facts can be learnt from a visit

Very interesting, value for money, lots of interesting tunnels. Suitable for most people however there are lots of steps down to the tunnels. Worth a visit.

It was nice to see all the cars on display this weekend. My elderly father enjoyed the aircraft as well. Good for children to learn. It's a pity some of the museum out buildings didn't have better lighting hard to see something's.

We visited today as part of the classic american car show and found the facilities terrible. They have not spent any money on this museum since time Began! Toilets are disgusting, housed in a dated wooden Porto cabin, no hot water, and towel on a loop that had seen better days I did not use this as I'm sure this... More

Good value for money, there is a kids play area, somewhere to eat and drink. Lots of interesting displays and military machines tanks, planes and artillery. They only take cash and some of the exhibits could do with updating & and a lick of paint.
