Garden Centre in the centre of Grasmere. We sell a variety of things from gifts, outdoor clothing, books, plants, garden furniture and foods. We also have a cafe - The Potting Shed - which serves home made cakes, scones, sandwiches, soups and a selection of light meals. You can even enjoy a local beer or two.

Although this is primarily a garden centre, we use it regularly as a cafe and tea room. We have found that the gift shop has plenty of ideas for presents, for others and for ourselves! A good choice of menu and plenty of tables both...More

Lovely cafe very relaxed and tasty food, an array of quality clothes and gifts and ideal for some one who is daunted by some larger garden centers.

We popped in for a glass of wine and a sparkling water this afternoon at about 3.45pm. I stood in the queue whilst my wife found a table outside. There were about three tables occupied. Several still had dirty plates and glasses from lunch time...More

We used to visit here quite regularly on our trips to the Lakes. The cafe used to be good and the garden centre itself was an interesting mix of stuff. I don't know whether the place is under new management or what is currently happening...More
