Before heading around Grasmere you come across this little cafe. It has a beautiful setting with boats to hire if you fancy a little exercise. The barista was pleasant and the coffee ok. The view was worth the stay.

This was our final destination after a great day in Grasmere. Lovely afternoon tea with fresh scones clotted cream and jam. Very friendly people and nice China tea sets. A good pot of real tea with tea strainer!!! Everything was fabulous. Views were lovely and it's a sheltered place to rest your legs! Give it a go you'll not be... More

A peaceful beauty spot and the coffee is brilliant. I have read in earlier reviews about people saying staff and signs were rude but it's just a small business trying to survive and I consider eating a picnic in a cafe ruder than signs that ask you not to. Great coffee and prices were worthwhile for the location similar to... More

We were doing a circuit of Rydal and Grasmere and this welcome stop came about halfway. We had earl grey and carrot cake, both delicious. This is a little Lake District gem.

This cafe overlooked the cake and has a good selection of drinks and some snacks. The is a toilet avaiakbke to customers. Most of the seating is not covered so is great on a sunny day.

Not bad, not great. Place a bit run down but in a nice spot with excellent views. Guess it's a 'quick call in for a brew' place. Nice enough staff and good range of teas but coffee a bit average.

Simply the best place on the planet to call in for a coffee or tea. The host has an enormous selection of fine teas and makes excellent coffee. Despite what some reviewers have said in the past, I have found the host to be extremely polite and friendly and obviously takes pride in keeping the place immaculate. We were visited... More

The cctv footage of this incident is being reviewed by the Police. What the writer fails to mention is the significant level of threats of violence directed toward me and the foul and abusive language used by and again directed at me by the males present. The lady asked "how much'. I replied "how much for what, we sell many... More

After a lovely family walk we stopped off at Faeryland for a cup of tea and a cake. We enjoyed a really fine pot of tea served in China cups accompanied with a luxury scone, jam and clotted cream plus a slice of delicious organic carrot cake. We sat outside, lakeside. Couldn't possibly have had a better spot to view... More
