A wonderful walk. Manageable for children. It took us four hours including a hefty lunch break. This is my favourite walk, the views are stunning very quickly due to the relatively steep climb. The waterfall is beautiful as is the tarn. We went the other way down which has some stepping stones. Great walk! Always advise it to people new... More

Good not too challenging walk with some excellent scenery. I think we went slightly to far out away from the Tarn itself and ended up having to cross a small river which was a bit hairy. Also my daughter fell into a bog up to her waist!

My husband and I did this walk yesterday - a windy day. Stunning scenery and great practice for our Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge in May! Appropriate footwear required

Great circular walk from Grasmere. Well maintained path way with lovely views. A bit rocky in places but well worth it.

We had not been to Grasmere before. What a find! Slightly off the beaten track but still easy to get to. The tarn and surrounding fells are the ideal day out for keen walkers. There are some steep parts to the path but it is very well maintained indeed so you won't get lost!

This is a great walk for views waterfalls and the tarn itself. We did the circular route with our daughter and dogs and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. There is enough room at the tarn never to feel crowded. It is a wonderful day out. The uphill is a bit of a slog but so many pleasant distractions along the... More
