Just had a very enjoyable pizza and shoe-string fries for dinner - very very tasty. Good service, nice atmosphere and good quality food at reasonable prices. I had the mushroom pizza (served with truffle oil) which was excellent. The fries come with a duck egg...More

Attending the Mountain Film Festival, this is the hub, where arrangements, the tented village, organisers and many events occur. A sizeable venue, able to simultaneously support a mix of activities and events along with providing food and a decent area to drink, relax and chat...More

We really want to support the Brewery Art Centre and we usually opt for the Reel Deal. To sit with a drink and a meal before a film makes more of an occasion! Unfortunately the sound levels spoil the enjoyment of the film. I’m not...More

Nice facility on the main street of Kendal. Good sized theatre. Friendly bar and restaurant serving acceptable bar food. Was there for Barnaby Rudge by the Northumberland Theatre Company - a fun production well done with a small company.

What's happened to the beer? New beers are pretty poor. Bring back the good stuff. Considering the range of great ales in the area what is being offered now is both limited and below par.

We went to the Brewery for a Bank Holiday drink and looked forward to a pleasant evening with friends. The bar was quiet but we guessed it would fill later. However, with little notice, we were turfed out at 10.00 when time was called! Then...More

We have a car park at The Brewery, but get here early as it does fill up quickly. Otherwise Abbot Hall car park is just across the road.
