A fabulous opportunity to see a mine and wonder how on earth people worked there in all weathers. Then see how they got to and from work - no-one would do so today. Can be seen in any weather but the worse it is the...More

I am sure the attraction and activities are good. However, at 5pm the night prior to taking part in the activity, my booking got cancelled. I also found it amusing that I was offered "two options". These were to undertake a different activity, or have...More

We use the car park here for walking up Haystacks and beyond, and always start and end with a loo break and coffee. The cafe is a little overpriced, but the carrot cake is delicious. Haven't done the mine tour so can only comment on...More

It was absolutely tipping it down when we visited, but that didnt stop this being a very enjoyable day out. Wrap up warm with waterproofs and good shoes and you'll have no problems. Even got some slate as a souvenir.

As the weather was particularly bad, we decided to book a mine tour for the morning. Booking online the night before was easy and e-tickets were delivered to email quickly. We had a superb tour when we arrived by Roland, he was incredibly knowledgeable and...More

Yes we have the Kimberley Mine tour that runs daily. It's mainly on the level and is a fairly flat surface. It goes approximately 200m inside the mine. It will involve stooping downwards slightly for approximately 40m. I... More
