A unique exhibition based on optical illusion. Witness balls rolling uphill in the antigravity room, visibly grow and shrink in the Ames room and be amazed by our interactive optical illusion exhibits, artwork and sculptures, as well as the hologram gallery!

A great collection of puzzles, illusions, tricks etc to clarify & confuse your brain (simultaneously & alternatingly!) The holograms weren't the best bit, and younger children couldn't spot/appreciate some of the cerebral/optical/psychological subtleties, but the photo opportunities and some particular 'exhibits' could keep you entertained...More

Took my 7 year old brother today, who is usually found glued to the laptop and not easily impressed. We both loved it and found the displays very fun and interesting.

We weren't too sure we would like this but it is good for people of all ages. A couple of the exhibits had been damaged (vandalised?) but we spent over an hour in there. It is very reasonably priced. We did have to ask where...More

It may be tucked away with an unassuming entrance but boy is it worth a visit! Fascinating for all ages from 5 to 105! Thank you to the young man on the ticket desk for being so welcoming.

An enjoyable enough attraction if you are already in Keswick, I don't think that I would advise anybody to make a special trip just to go there. The entrance fee is reasonable and you can take dogs in for free. There are some good photo...More

This is a great place to go on a wet day, and is much better than a museum of static exhibits with pages of information to read. Some of the puzzles are looking a little tired now, but in the main everything was interesting and...More

This must be one of the best 'puzzle places' around! It's not huge, but then the entry charges aren't huge either, but it certainly tests your perception of size, space, perspective, and challenges you to work out what you're seeing. Well worth the visit if...More

This was a great activity. Very interactive for adults and children (ages 5 and up). It is a small area and very busy on a rainy day. It took us a good hour to get round all the exhibits. It's priced well and they also...More

Cheap admission for an hour of mind bending entertainment, great for the kids and even better if you're looking for something to do on a rainy day.
