Living in nearby Cockermouth, we are regular visitors to TBTL Keswick. Just seen second of 2 Spring Shows, a play about William Wordsworth, his family and his friendship with fellow poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge. Set during the time they were living in Grasmere so lots of local interest. Clever staging and scenery and witty script. A most enjoyable evening.

Great location, easy parking, friendly and comfortable. In the interval I strolled to admire the view of the jaws of Borrowdale - fantastic especially as I had been watching William Wordsworth. A truly memorable evening. I wish I lived in Keswick and was able to volunteer!

We were spending Christmas with HF holidays which included a theatre visit. Lovely little theatre 🎭 which was fully booked. We came in by coach but could see lots of obvious parking. We've since used the car park as it's only a few minutes walk into town.

Took all the family incl a 11yr and 14yr old to see this play. Last minute decision but live performance is always a treat. All enjoyed it ( even the sceptical one!), great performances especially by 'Coleridge'. Simple but effective sets.Lovely theatre, bigger than I thought it would be.

I always make time to come here when visiting Keswick. This time around I went to see the current play Wordsworth which was very good. This is a lovely little theatre.

We enjoyed such a great evening watching Keswick's latest play, William Wordsworth. Thank you! Wonderful acting throughout bringing to life a small insight of the hardships suffered over a short period of time. An interesting and thought provoking play on William's life at a particular period, which, on leaving the show, made you curious to learn more about Wordsworth, Dorothy,... More

Fascinating and high quality production. An excellent evening with strong performances. We have been to this theatre on every holiday we have had in the Lakes. Only one prodution had us less than enchanted, but as a theatre goer you will not enjoy everything you see. Theatre has excellent ambience, friendly staff, and great location, and within easy strolling distance... More

This is a new production and labelled the "World Premiere". It was absolutely superb with probably the best cast gathered in Keswick for years. In my view the play started slowly but quickly gathered pace and while Wordsworth was excellent, to me it was Coleridge that was the star. The story of Wordsworth's early life told of his hardship, his... More

What a wonderful production! Scene changes done with grace and elegance, they were mesmerising . The story unfolded at the right pace and all characterisations were believable. A lovely night out.
