I came here with my 21 month old son. There is a toddler area with a soft ladder and slide and a crazy mirror. That's it. Older children who were bigger than the sign were allowed to play, which made it difficult for the babies. No staff to oversee or ask for support in keeping the baby area for babies.... More

All started well, until a boy attacked my boy for no reason. punching him in the face The mother who was staff was out of the play centre when it happened. When I spoke to the member of staff the mother of the child, she did say that her son had done it before. She did apologise but I felt... More

I have been here a number of times over the last year. Each time I tell myself I'll never go again as it's so poor, but then the weather's terrible and there's no other indoor play area in Penrith so I find myself returning. This time though I am adamant that I'm not going back! It's filthy dirty, the floor... More

Took our grand daughter after talking to friends who had been with their children. Spent 2 hours there and the delight on our granddaughters face was brilliant. We will be going again.

We stopped off at Penrith en route to Yorkshire and wanted somewhere our 4 year old could stretch his legs and have some lunch and this place was great! We had the place to ourselves for almost an hour but i think that's because it was early afternoon. Food was nice, the meat was all 'proper' from the butchers and... More

We have taken our little boy to Pirates twice now - and both times he has absolutely enjoyed himself and its been well worth it :) - we can even say we have enjoyed kicking the footballs around in the enclosed sport area with him and quickly jumping out of the way of the crocodiles on the way in and... We visited with our 3 1/2 and 1 1/2 year old and they were very well provided for with great play equipment, clean facilities, well-maintained. Proper coffee and good cake-we recommend it!

Over priced and unclean with shabby play equipment. Lots of older children playing in the toddler area some of which appeared to belong to the Lady behind the counter. We have been here twice before but after today I don't think we will return. The play areas need to be better supervised and parents need to be reminded when signing... More

the kids loved it. Need I really say more? these places are at their best when clean & friendly like Pirates of Penrith. We had a nice cup of tea whilst the kids tumbled all around. they were exhausted at the end!!

This is the second time we have visited and both times it have thought it looked like it needed a good clean. Tables hadn't been wiped, couches looked grubby, floors were unswept and the soft play area also looked grubby. The whole place needs a good clean. Won't be back.
