Enjoyed lake cruise - great views around the lake - worth experiencing. Informative narration from the Skipper - and hot/cold drinks available if you fancy a cuppa.

The weather was really bad when we traveled so we decided not to go out on the Lake. We will definitely return and go on one of the ferries when the weather is nicer.

I agree with Mark B. However please be aware that Windermere Town And Station are 1- 1.5 miles from Lake Windermere. The nearest access point on the Lake to the station is Bowness on Windermere.

The best place to go with a wheelchair is around the lake at the Amberside end also at bowmess on the share line. You can also go on the steamers.
