This is the best Pier if you have a family and they want rides on things and plenty of Fun. The Amusements are good if you have plenty of money to spend.

We visited the Central Pier last weekend when we seemed to have a one off Heatwave. The Pirates Bay Bar at the end of the Pier makes an ideal stopping off area after the amusements. You can either relax inside or sit and relax outside...More

Had a quick walk down while out on my birthday. Just before Bank holiday so pier was quiet. Some nice views but the seats could really do with a makeover, they are sadly showing their age. Used the loos, felt the floor move, when I...More

We love strolling up & down the pier, but the stall holders who are constantly calling out to you are a bit annoying. Still, it's nice to feel the wind in your hair (or on your head if you're follically challenged ;-) )

The piers have never really changed in many a year. They are still nice for a stroll as long as the wind isn't blowing too hard or it is too cold. The stallholders can be a bit of a pain trying to get you to...More

Heading home, we made a detour to Blackpool, had a stroll along the front and a walk along this pier. A typical seaside experience, which everyone should do at least once. Yes a bit tacky, yet friendly and fun too!

Stepping onto Blackpool's Central Pier is like stepping into the past. As you progress along the pier passing the many novelty funfair games vendors souvenir and rock shops you get the impression that very little has moved on from the 70's and 80's. The small...More

Went on this pier years ago and went to reminisce. It was good to walk to the end, but some cockles and admire the view. The reason I gave it 3stars is that the condition of the searing and the metal railings is in desperate...More

You have to visit the pier when you are at the seaside. It is great for families but also nice for a quiet walk. Catch it on a sunny day and views are great! Various cafés around, free toilets and plenty of amusements!

Lovely food at the Pier End Cafe. Myself, wife and kids went on the pier for a day out and decided to get some food. I had the jumbo breakfast which was fantastic one of the best I've had. The wife had a jacket potato with cheese and beans which was served with salad it was so big she didn't eat it all. The kids had hotdogs and ate every bit of it. Great food at a great price will definitely be going again.
