Very well laid out modern theatre, even though the performance looked sold out, there was plenty of room to move around before curtain up and during the interval. Prices at the bar weren't over expensive, trendy bars around the cultural quarter charged around the same, definitely not London theatre prices. Although this theatre is community based, there are plenty of... More

Unlike other theatres, there never seems to be a crush, either at the bar areas or in the doors into the theatre area - perhaps I've jsut be lucky on the nights I've been - there are queues for the toilets though. The staff are friendly and helpful. the stage areand seating is well laid out so that all seats... More

This was our first visit to the Curve and we were very impressed. We were in the front row of the circle (part of a Christmas present) with very comfortable seats with lots of leg room. What a show we got to see! This was a laugh from 20mins before the show actually started (don’t be late in as you... More

I am an occasional visitor to the curve. It is a delightful venue. This time we were up in the balcony and throughly enjoyed the show. The facilities are excellent and there is always a sense of other things going on with the other rooms around the outside of the concourse. This visit meant we explored the upper level where... Loved the production of The Twits. I'm not going to lie, I was a bit of a snob thinking if it's not a production in London then how good could it be. But this proved me wrong and how glad I am that it did. The production, being based on a Roald Dahl book, so primarily aimed at children didn't... More

My 2nd visit to the Curve to see a piece of classic Orton. A West-end quality performance which could not have been better. The theatre is a celebration of modern design, it was also complimented by the arty Orton crowd who had come to see the play. When getting a pre-show drnk we also booked drinks for the interval, nice... More

I was at Curve for two showings of What the Butler Saw, and was extremely impressed with the building and staff. It is clear that this theatre is well cared for, and that everyone wants to be there, doing their job whatever it might be. Everyone on staff is helpful and friendly, and I definitely will return for another show... More

Curiously the leading and by far the best actor in the show was not on the advertising blurb! Jasper Britton is convincingly insane as the Government doctor (or was he?) Was he insane or was the Doctor insane. Maybe he was or wasn't but became so? He delivered many brilliant short speeches, several of which the audience applauded spontaneously. Delivered... More

So proud to have quality theatre shows right on our doorstep. Only wish we could go more. Book early to get the best seats as the shows are always popular.
