Situated on a 20 acre site on the outskirts of Leicester City Centre we are a registered charity, a working farm and community project dedicated to the welfare of our animals and to providing a fun and educational experiences for all. We are open 365 days a year rain or shine. With over 100 animals for you to meet we offer the perfect venue for a fun family day out or educational group visit. Find us on facebook for up to date information. Entry to the farm is £1 per child, £2 per adult. Buttercup Hill cafe is independantly and privately run and has its own trip adviser page

Went to see the animals. It was a good small visit. It was lovely to feed the goats and sheep. It's nice how there is a small play area for the children.

You can buy a pack of animal food for around £2 and feed the goats, as you walk around you will see cows, pigs and goats (much more too). At the end there is a mini playground for younger children, ideal for a short visit....More

What ever your age you will enjoy Gorse Hill City Farm. Especially if you get a dry day. There is some thing for every one too enjoy.

What a great hour or two spent at the farm great interaction with the animals the only down side is the cafe where the staff are unfriendly and prices are quite high

Nice farm loads of animals such as goats pigs and fish you can't feed the donkeys the horse and the ponys, and you buy the food from the farm shop it is 50p
