Went to Lincoln Christmas Market for the first time today. Couldn't believe that the satnav took us through the City Centre to get to the show ground park and ride. Park and ride was expensive at £14.00. We bought a guide map, a good job too otherwise we have missed a couple of the market stall areas. There is no... More

Fabulous day, well organised an lots to see and buy. Park and Ride, although seemed expensive was efficient and took approximately 10 minutes to get into town. Arrived at 10.30 am so market was just getting under way and was not too busy. Lots of lovely interesting stalls and stall keepers were very helpful and happy to talk about their... More

Decided not to risk a pram so took the baby in a sling. Right decision as it was really busy. Baby enjoyed all the lights but was tucked up and cosy. We enjoyed the stalls, especially the food. Really lovely event. Lots to see and do. Will come back next year.

Lincoln Xmas Market has gone downhill over the last few years. It is now very expensive and the stalls are repetitive and lack interest. I used to visit the market specifically to buy Bextons Cheese, until they couldn't get a pitch after many years as they were not local, despite being a British company at a German Market!!!!!!! Went last... More

This is a market not to be missed. There was even a sitar player outside the cathedral adjacent the big Christmas tree that was nicely lit. Medieval market near the cathedral was an experience with stall holders in period costume. There was also a jester doing the rounds! I enjoyed the birds of prey that were displayed outside the main... More

We've been coming for years but it's really dropping off now. It's large don't misunderstand me but they are lacking in bringing some festive emotion to it. A rethink is needed. It is worth a visit though.

We visited last year and had an amazing day. I can see from other peoples reviews that they feel the market is not so good as previous years but as first time visitors we thought i was brilliant. We drove and used the park and ride, which when we shared the cost between the four or of us didn't amount... More

Brilliant market lots of varied stalls and things to do. As it gets dark there is a great atmosphere and hidden corners with things going on worth staying to evening. There are lots of buses to the car park and ride. Not always anywhere to rest as everywhere is packed would wear good comfortable footwear and take a camera. A... More
