A 15-minute walk from its Anglican counterpart along Hope Street, 1960s' "futurism" best describes the exterior of what's locally know as "Paddy's Wigwam." The huge interiors illuminated by natural light through the exquisite stained glass is worth the journey itself.

This building confirmed that I don't like modern buildings!. To be honest, I didn't like it at all, but I think it should be visited, as it is a pretty controversial place, you wither love it or hate it!

Modern cathedral. Very colourful inside, lovely building. Look out for the Stations of the Cross, they are amazing.

This very modern cathedral was built 1967. From outside it looks spectacular but not appealing because of the concrete which is the main material of the Cathedral. Inside it’s very special with the circular form and the large organ capable of producing grand melodies. We...More

We climed the stairs to enter this stunning building and was amazed what was inside. The building is circular, it didn't feel oppressive and the light from the stained glass ceiling and other areas provided both interest and awe.

Not a typical cathedral, it is extremely modern but includes stained glass and statues etc as per more traditional cathedral. Compared to the other Liverpool cathedral, they are complete opposites but worth a visit. This includes candles and a prayer tree and so many benches....More

Quite the impressive architecture has many locals calling it the Star Wars Cathedral. It is actually a lovely church that is worth visiting.
