If you come from London, as we do, you inevitably compare this Tate with those in London. Here in Liverpool it is smaller scale but definitely worth a visit if you enjoy modern and contemporary British and international art. Somehow it just seems a little...More

A great afternoon, immersed in contemporary art. The Exhibition is beautifully displayed in this bright and peaceful gallery . Really enjoyed the stunning Lichtenstein’s . The highlight for me was the #Shape of my mind exhibition highlighting mental health awareness week. This is a vibrant...More

Re-visited after a year and was most impressed. The gallery has impressive exhibits and over the 3 floors are varied and fascinating. Very friendly team on hand to guide and give information. A most excellent morning.

Always an interesting gallery - last time I entitled it "Tosh" this time the title should be quite interesting. Pleanty to see and very wide ranging. The exhibition in part was the choice of one of the guys who set exhibitions up. It was an...More

Great gallery, with some excellent examples of Modern Art. Only reason I did not give 5 stars was the staff seemed to overlook me as I was not perceived to be the Art type. But well worth a visit!!

This gallery specialises in displaying modern works of art. It has large exhibiting spaces, and is pleasantly located in the docks area. Your rating will depend on what you think of modern art. I did find a painting by Joseph Turner which appealed to me,...More

Visited last weekend in April. Enjoyed it very much. The Roy Lichtenstein and Ken's Show were excellent. Some very good bits of art that are beautiful and/or thought provoking.

Situated on the modernised but rather breezy and chilly waterfront, this is an interesting gallery to visit. A Roy Lichtenstein exhibition was on when I visited, as well as a collection from the Tate’s own stores, including a couple of Turners. The cafe is a...More

I'm sorry I'm not sure. But I found a place opposite the echo. Other side of the road. Has a billboard advertising Sixt. I think. It was £4 all day. Looks like a dis used hanger but it's great.
