The Tate is a wonderful space to visit with a lots of different levels to wonder through. The gift shop was very good and all members of staff were friendly. Would recommend a visit. There were activities for children too.

Modern art needs to be your thing for you to enjoy this to the full, otherwise most of the exhibits are just incomprehensible nonsense. FREE though so you could visit, laugh and shake your head in disbelief.

A few hours spent looking at everything on display, liked the variety of art from Lowry and Dali to a glittering blue car engine. Listened to a great talk on Op Art.
