This is a mature park with lake and chidrens playground. There's an indifferent cafe. Currently under threat from the Mayor, Joe Anderson. who wants to build luxury houses within the park itself.

Very dog-friendly park, complete with kids playground, ice cream shop and loads of Poké stops, if that's what you're into. Great for long walks, and loads of spots to sit and relax, big fields for playing footy and wide paths for bikes.

This is a stunning place but they need to crack down on the unleashed dogs and faeces they leave behind.

The state of the Ladies toilets let it down a lot - I would not have even gone in had I not been desperate after a long drive. I've attached photographs of the disgusting state they were in, although there is a poster on the wall in the toilets stating that they are due for renovation I still see no... More

Brisk cold winter's day walk around Calderstones Park on the way to a wider walk around the area. Never been here before and it was a bit of a find. Lovely park feel to it, plenty of space but lots of interest and not just open expanses of grass. Nice playground, picturesque lake too. Worth a visit.

Worth a visit and I recommend the 'cafe' which is a reading room with lovely coffee and cakes on sale. The children's play area is popular and the sensory garden beautiful.

Fantastic park. Well kept, wonderful facilities, great walks and tremendous little cafe. The south of Liverpool's premier park. Wonderful children's park and a great place to walk your dog with hundreds of like minded dog lovers. A must visit

Beautiful Sunday walk or stroll in the park with the family, plenty to do, feed the ducks watch the wildlife, go fishing ( permit required) play in the park, there is a one thousand year old oak tree that they call the hanging tree could be a myth but still it's there, there is also a mixture of old English...
