Always known this was on my doorstep but when on my early morning walks (well.. I say early morning but it's probably more middle of the night when I set off in most other people's eyes hehehe..). Well my mate lives in an appartment these ways so I thought I'd give along the dock rd and into aigburth as a... More

The title says it all really..... This is a fabulous part of Liverpool with tremendous views of the Mersey and wonderful walks to take at your own pace whilst you soak them up. Lots of benches to sit on if your legs get weary and if you are hungry then there is always the Otters Café or the Otterspool Arms... More

The whole promenade is beautiful and peaceful, with lovely views of the river. It's a great place to take a walk and then stop for a drink at one of the nice local pubs. There is a lot of greenery perfect for dog walking, child's play or picnicking.

We use the promenade a lot as we don't live too far away ,the walkway runs for miles and family's use it a lot including cyclists who enjoy a ride along the front .Theres lots of people with children and dogs and there's a nice little children's park and some outdoor gym equipment to use . Walk along and you... More

The view is beautiful. There is a play park for children, and large grass areas to relax on. The big down side is the large amount of dog faeces, many owners dont seem to clean up after their dogs in Liverpool, which ruins what can be a lovely walk.

we visit here several times a year. summer is obviously best but it was really cold today and it was still worth the trip for the family. kids enjoy the safe open space, the adventure park and the fresh air. we are from Manchester so its a fair old trip for just a park or an interesting walk as I... Two friends and I decided to go for a long walk with your babies and buggies. Otterspool was a great location due to the wide path. We also began the walk with a quick visit to the soft-play area which was very quiet on a Friday morning. We did not stay in the cafe but it seemed welcoming and a... More

I've visited Otterspool since I was a kid and it's changed over the years, for the better I might add! There are plenty of free parking spaces with wide paths leading down to the main walkway, ideal for buggies or wheelchairs. You can walk for miles! Yes there are dog walkers, joggers and people on push bikes but that's to... More
