Football is one of the city's greatest passions. There are two big clubs in the city, but it's those playing in red who enjoy most of the attention. Liverpool FC opens its Anfield Stadium to visitors during the day when no games are scheduled. Led by enthusiastic guides, the museum and stadium tour gives sports fans behind-the-scenes access to one of the best-known soccer clubs in the world.

We had a fantastic tour around Anfield, it was great to see how the stadium has progressed since we last went last year. We went down into the locker rooms and we also went pitch side and was able to sit in jurgen kloops seat in the dugout. We also went and sat in the kop. Our guide Gary was... More

All I can say is it's made me a fan. Don't do football at all but this was a gift for the boyfriend. He is a huge support but hasn't been the ground for quite some time. All staff are really friendly and very helpful. The booked tour was for a preview of the new stadium, went through the media... More

Recent visit with my Son and Dad we all had a great time. Tour guide was excellent very knowledgeable and kept the group involved throughout. Main stand is finished but this didn't spoil the tour by any means. Fab day for all including the museum and a coffee in the cafe.

We went intially for the museum and the Steven Gerrard collection. We were offered the upgrade for the tour. After seeing the Steven Gerrard collection we decided to do it and it was worth it! We saw all the new part of the stadium and there were plenty of opportunities to take pictures. The tour guides (oliver and jack) were... More

We arrived and we're shortly greeted by our guide. One of the stands has recently been improved and we were taken to see the stand and the improvements. Press rooms, changing rooms, family waiting areas and then out to the stadium seating area. The guide gave us lots of time and all the answers in every location. Not only did... More

If you're in Liverpool, you must do the Anfield tour! We had John as our tour guide, who was so knowledgable and absolutely hilarious! The tour itself lasted for about an hour and included lots of photo opportunities. We then got to walk around the museum and Steven Gerard Collection. There was a great atmosphere at Anfield and I would... More

What a stadium. Feels a bit like Thomond Park in Limerick that the fans are inches from the pitch. Photo opportunities galore after the game, outside the stadium and the fanzones are a great idea along with live bands to build the atmosphere.

As I am not a football fan I begrudgingly agreed to accompany my other half on a tour of Anfield during our short stay in Liverpool. I am so glad I did. Our visit started on the Trip to Anfield tour bus. All decked out in red and with "you'll never walk alone" playing on the speakers. We had an... More
