This was my 1st visit to the O2, we seen Impractical Jokers here since we decide there was no point attempting to get tickets for the Glasgow show. This place is enormous! we were pretty high up but could see well. Steps leading up were a little steep& I did feel a little crushed in, but nothing terribly uncomfortable. Getting... More

A beautiful and comfortable space in north Greenwich, with a lot of cafes and restos to pass your time before the event you are attending. We were there for the NBA London game and really enjoyed it, appart from the fact that the cheaper sits were really dark and kind of gloomy.

Watched Andy Murray play Chilic - Andy won of course in his bid to become no.1in the tennis world. Was a fabulous match. The O2 was very crowded with people waiting to go into all of the many eateries the seats had very little leg room the drinks were very expensive which you couldn't buy outside of the O2 to... More

A good experience despite being on crutches, I tweeted ahead to ask about easy access, to which I got a prompt reply to ask a team member if I needed any assistance, very good. When I arrived I got queue jumped through the easy access gate and got a lift to the 1st floor, excellent, but then was told I needed... More

Impressive exterior but inside, the Arena itself is just a blue warehouse with speakers. Huge, soulless - it is as big as it is lacking in atmosphere. Possibly my least favourite music venue, and perhaps better suited for exhibiting indoor sports (basketball/tennis). This is a review of the VENUE not the bands! We were lucky enough to have good seats,... More

The O2 arena is my main venue for any large event and the many times we have been never been disappointed! The staff are always friendly and approachable. Including bar staff, merchandise, ticket officers and the angels! Clean venue and we always have ana amazing time when we go! Never had a problem!

This was our first visit to the O2 and we thoroughly enjoyed it. It's much bigger than we expected but the audio experience is not affected. The food and drink opportunities in the outer ring of the arena are plentiful. Drinks inside the arena are pricey but I think it's pretty standard and similar to Wembley etc. Would definitely go... We were here for the impractical jokers and as the act is the reason for the visit we could only say ok. The American comedy coupled with the relentless abuse of each other was funny to a point. They really should stick to their street pranks which is their genius. Some odd fans follow them as well. We got out... More

I bought 3 VIP tickets costing £1500 each in order to attend the NBA match between Indiana Pacers and Denver Nuggets. I am basically always purchasing VIP tickets because of the high quality service that I am usually getting. Unfortunately, it wasn't the case at the O2. These tickets were the most expensive that I ever bought, even more expensive... More

This is a very well known location. Busy all year round for various wares and street food. A great place to visit to people watch, highly recommend!

Staying in Greenwich

Neighbourhood Profile
Greenwich
Greenwich Mean Time starts here, so to speak, as the very concept of global time was established at Royal Observatory, just one of several buildings of architectural interest in Greenwich. Indeed, the whole of Greenwich's historic town center, its Royal Park and a number of related buildings (and one world famous ship, the Cutty Sark) make up the UNESCO World Heritage site known as Maritime Greenwich. Today a laser beam is shot out across the night sky from the Observatory to mark the location of the Prime Meridian. Other bold (some say brash) 21st century additions to the area include landmarks such as The O2 entertainment complex (previously known as the Millennium Dome) and the Air Line cable cars, which offer scenic transport across the Thames between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks.
