The few times I've ben here I've always been seated at the top tear and unlike other venues you really are miles away and it's kind of hard to see. However the building itself is beautiful.

This is my favourite music venue in London; in part this is for nostalgic reasons as I've seen so many iconic bands there - starting way back in the 1970s. It keeps changing its name, but will always be the Hammy Odeon to me! The sound here is always excellent, which you cannot always say about all London venues. I've... More

A great venue for wheelchair users. Easy access and helpful staff. Great view of the stage and you feel part of the show, being just elevated enough. Not too far from Hammersmith station and can get a taxi to pick up very close to the door. A fabulous show - thanks Sting - you took us right back to our... More

The hall is small, old school and requires refurbishment. I was there for my favourite artist Sting, so I didn't bother much about the venue, but even in Eastern Europe an artist of such a high calibre will be offered a nicer, more airy venue. If there for your favourite band, it's worth it. Otherwise I wouldn't go for the... More

Sting was FABULOUS! Well worth the hours spent online getting the tickets .. the 'very good' rating is for the artist, not the Apollo .. thoroughly enjoyed the support act, the main sets and the encores - BRILLIANT! The venue - average I would say. Good location and easy to get to via couple of tube lines, and very near... More

What s fab venue, we saw Sting here and it was awesome, I like that it's a more personal venue as opposed to somewhere like the O2. Sound was great, as was the atmosphere. We had standing tickets and I think it's great the way it has been designed with a sloping floor going back towards the bar area. You... More

Went to see Sting at the Hammersmith Apollo. Standing area absolutely rammed. People having to stand in corridors. How can this be safe? (let alone comfortable, relaxing, enjoyable...). Concert promoter and venue greed rather than any regard whatsoever for the paying clientele - and it's growing at all concert venues...

Saw Joe and Ashanti at the Apollo in March. What a gig. The venue is one of London's Crown Jewels. It is a piece of history and has all the old school Art Deco features. Very helpful staff and loads of parking around venue
