Excellent guided tour by Yeoman of the Guard called Kevin. Very amusing and engaging. Lots of interesting facts. We enjoyed time looking around the various museums on site too. Suitable for families.

This is the second time I have done this tour. The first one was 25 years earlier. I would recommend a guided tour by the beefeaters. It is a free tour.

if i remember correctly the Yeoman tours are about every 30 minutes and leave from the moat area right after you just come in from scanning your tickets.

I'm unsure but I did not see any obvious parking areas. The Tower is easily accessible via hop on hop off or public transportation.
