While staying in London again, we had taken a long walk along the Embankment from Westminster Bridge and had thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful views along the way. When we reached Waterloo Bridge we decided to use it to cross the River Thames and take another...More

As everyone else says you get great London views from the bridge, but for me the best thing is the second hand book market underneath the South end of the bridge at the weekend, lots of books about virtually any subject you can choose, always...More

Fabulous to take pictures of many iconic London landmarks whilst crossing the bridge on foot. You can see buildings of old and new London right next to each other, stunning.

Arriving at the DFI for a film premiere, we had time to spare and were advised by a lovely lady that a trip onto the bridge would allow us to see many popular sights from one place. After a 5 minute walk, we were in...More

We walked from the south bank across the bridge heading to Covent Garden. The bridge is not very interesting but the views up and down the river are very good.

This is a modern bridge with no outstanding features other than to take you across the river however underneath the bridge on the south bank you will find booksellers similar to the Bouquinists of Paris. Worth a browse.

The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho
hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a
compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars,

Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene –
and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping
