It was such a nice place to go too in the london sun, it was busy but still easy to find a seat. There wasn't much on the menu which did put me down, but the food was satisfactory.

Brilliant! We had a glass of wine and took it out to sit on the wall across, in the sun, watching everyone go by. There is a roof terrace but it was full. Great area.

Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard,
the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond
any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some

browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street,
foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old
foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks
of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest
