The Crown and Sceptre is a great place to dine or just to relax. A beautiful pub, restaurant and hotel with verve and style. Our kitchen offers British & Italian cookery to the highest standard, made by a dedicated team of professionals. Always fresh, always excellent. Our boutique hotel offers a rare mix of classic London hospitality and luxury en-suite accommodation from £90 which allows our guests to feel relaxed and refreshed for the next day at the exhibition hall.

Came with friends who are local, we used to love this place with great food and a friendly atmosphere but it seems to have really gone downhill! Prices were much higher than previously, service was late with our three meals arriving 30 min apart. Staff...More

The Crown and Sceptre is usually excellent, with great drinks at reasonable prices, lovely interiors and a very pretty beer garden. However, they have recently changed their prices to charge 3.65 for a lemonade. I was assured by the bar staff that this was not...More

Four of us for Sunday lunch. Two chicken dinners, a beef and a Lamb. All fantastic. The chicken was epic. Slow cooked with Darlow and herb butter. Lovely atmosphere with great music rather than a TV which made a big difference. Perfect for a lazy...More

This pub was a gem of a find which we discovered purely by accident. We're glad we went for a wonder. We ate here on a Friday night. The staff, particularly our waiter (Carl?), was fantastic. Attentive, efficient and very friendly. The atmosphere of the...More

The pub is lovely then you enter a dirty, dark corridor and stairs up to your room. The room was small with chipped paintwork and not as boutique as advertised. The shower area is brilliant. Nice and modern. The breakfast is very poor. A few...More

I don't normally write reviews but after the food we had on 17th July 2017 I thought if they don't get feedback then they won't know how poor their food was. I was told that there was only 1 meat pie left so decided to...More

Myself and my wife stayed here recently because we were going to a concert at the Royal Albert Hall. It was about 30 minutes walk or a 10 minute bus ride. The pub is a quaint and comfortable place for a drink or a meal....More

17 of us descended on this place and they were more than happy to accommodate. The fish and chips and the bangers and mash were good, but the day's special, Spaghetti Bolognese, was very delicious. Not what you would expect from a British pub but...More
