A lovely small park to people watch. People test on the grass or park benches. On a warm day, children run through the spurting water. Lots of restaurants in the area. Near the theatre/plays too.

While seen now as a bit of a tourist trap, Piccadilly Circus is still an exciting place to visit as its convenient to the shopping streets Regent Street and Carnaby Street. Also very close to West end and China Town.

As long as you wish to spend. You can simply see it and move on, about 10 minutes to take a look around and some photos. Or you can grab an ice cream, sit down, and soak up the atmosphere.

There's a kiosk called TKTS right on Leicester Square, near Piccadilly. You can buy same day show tickets there. I think there are more of these kiosks. Google map TKTS and Leicester Square and you'll see it
