One of Those Places

You have to see when coming to London. But don't really give you a lot back. Best at night when everything is illuminated.

This place is very well lit-up and vibrant..full of advertisements, hoardings and lights! There are a couple of restaurants and bars that make this fun place to hang out!

It's an amazing place, full of people... maybe this is the only inconvenience. The lighting effects in the area in this special period is unbelievable. One of the most suggestive in the world if you like this kind of things. If you are in London during Christmas it's something you can not miss.

I have no idea why people talk so much about the Piccadilly Circus. Maybe it's just me, but what I saw was a lot of advertisings, many many tourists and all this a few meters away from a fish and chips fast food stand. Maybe it looks to you like a movie scene, but to me it was just a... More

It's a cosmopolitan location, hence every one can walk around and experience the effects of the street.

Worth a look if you haven't been before but if you have seen it once not much more to see as it's just a huge advertising board. Nice curved old buildings in area though.

It is a small Times Square. Very bussy at night with great adds and nice Christmas lights. Mostly towards Regent Street. A place to visit or to pass by when you walk from Coventry to Regent

Had the privilege of taking a 10 year old here for the first time in his life. Understandably he was blown away by the size of the screen. A genuine jaw dropping moment. Then Santa walked past as he was watching a floating Yoda... It was a highlight of the day!

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
