Overview
More
Far beneath the majesty and splendor of the Paris Opera House, hides the Phantom in a shadowy existence. Shamed by his physical appearance and feared by all, the love he holds for his beautiful protegee Christine Daae is so strong that even her heart cannot resist. The musical opened at Her Majesty's Theatre on 9 October 1986 with Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman in the leading roles, and there have been dozens of productions worldwide since then. Now in its 26th record-breaking year, The Phantom of the Opera continues to captivate audiences at Her Majesty's Theatre in London's West End, after more than 10,000 performances. Andrew Lloyd Webber's mesmerizing score along with jaw-dropping scenery and breathtaking special effects, magically combine to bring this tragic love story to life each night.

Not much to say really - if you haven't seen it then you really should! Tickets in the Royal Circle are brilliant.

I sat nearly under the chandelier and from the time it drops through the second act the end was very good. It does have a bit of a campy feel, clearly an old show. I had always wanted to go and am glad I did...More

Phantom of the opera is an amazing show. The cast, production and music is first class. It is hugely disappointing that after buying 5 tickets at a cost of £485.00 we were in uncomfortable seats in the stalls section. The tiny seats are outdated and...More

Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII,

Yes, as the theatre is small, the middle of the theatre after 6 or 7 rows is comfortable.

Hi there is no reason to dress formally. There will be people there in suits and some in jeans. I usually go smart casual just to enjoy - have a great time
