I ordered an item online. When it wasn't delivered I checked my account and found out that the order was cancelled. I emailed and was told stocks were low and they were out of my size. They made no effort to contact me and let me know also I haven't received any refund. I used a gift card so I... More

Just had a Russell Hobbs Steamer delivered by Debenhams. It came without instructions and guarantee. Rang the Debenhams helpline thinking they will sort this out and send me the missing paperwork. NO- the lady informed me that I should contact Russell Hobbs directly. My understanding of purchasing a product is that you have to contact the company you bought the... More

The service I received was not acceptable and I will be writing a letter of complaint about it. I called 4 times to find out when my parcel would be delivered, the first time I was told by Mohammed that it was definitely coming on the desired date I requested although he did mention that a different date had appeared... Love Debenhams as a rule and if this had been my first visit I would have been totally put off. On entering the store it felt like I was 'running the gauntlet'. Staff from varying cosmetic/perfume departments were practically pushing their bits of card in your face. One pushy member of staff was even waiting at the bottom of the... More

Every time I go here I get ignored. Literally u get no response when u go to check out. If u say thanks u get silence back. U have to ask for the total to pay because they check u out in total silence, not even a glance. Never a smile. They hire the worse staff. Consistent Appalling service means... More

I'd never considered using this service, in fact didn't know it existed in this store, but after struggling with trying on umpteen outfits for my daughter's wedding, I happened to find the Personal Stylist section and asked for an appointment. I was worried that I'd be pressured into buying something, or made to feel frumpy, but nothing could be further... More

The store is large and in a great location, but going in felt disorganised and chaotic without a clear structure.

Love Debenhams, much the same in London as it is in Dublin. Friendly & helpful staff. Great location.

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
