I have been using the tube to get around London for a number of years for my Buisiness trips in and around London. Great connections from Euston and with an Oyster card or contactless the cheapest way to visit all the famous sites around London Town. Can't fault the staff they are always willing to help you out if your... More

It is the best way to move quickly from side to side. The connections are very well formed. Event the first time visiting was easy to buy Oyster and top it. Staff is very friendly!

On advice from friends, we decided to use the contactless method of payment when using the tube on a weekend in London. We were 2 adults and 2 children using the tube on Saturday and Sunday from 10.30am til 9pm. We hopped on and off, visiting Harrods, Hamleys, Drury Lane theatre, The Shard and Westminster. These are all within zones... More

It is centrally located in London city, very near to Tottenham Court Road. A good club and Pub where you can safely spend time with friends.

The tube is the best, most cost effective means of transportation in London. Buy an Oyster card or a day pass for the best value. We have used the app "Tube Map London Underground" and it has made getting anywhere s breeze! The app does not require wifi to use and provides the best routes for your desired stop!

The Tube is easy to use and very cost-effective. We took it from the airport to our hotel and it was a breeze. There are so many lines that there is hardly a place in London you can't get to using it.

If you are staying for a week buy an Oyster Card. We put $50 on it and rode all over the city including to and from Heathrow. The Oyster Card can also be used on busses and light rail. The transit folks are the friendliest people in London. It only takes about a day to figure out the system. If... More

We could get everywhere we needed to on the tube. I would recommend using an app such as trip advisor to help you to get around but we were surprised how easy it was to get around London. It does get very busy and hot though so make sure you take a drink and be prepared to stand.

I was nervous about using the tube. We were just planning to visit the city of London and were told the traffic is abominable(it is and we were glad not to have to drive in it) We had no car and had no choice. The tube was simple to navigate and got us anywhere we needed to go. The tube... More

An extreamly flexible way of transportation. Very clean and light and easy to find direction. Mornings can be troublesome. Alot of people commute to work at the same time, so rush hour is cracy. My oppinion is that the London tube is the best of its kind in the world.

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
