Convent Garden is a large Market in the heart of London. Inside traders put up stalls to sell their wares, as well as there being a range of shops inside too. The area is quiet until around 10:30am when it livens up and visitors start to arrive. In the area there are also some high-street and high-end stores to visit... More

What a great place to take the family while you are in London. It is certainly family friendly with lots of free entertainment. Don't forget to check out the local artisans who sell their wares as well. Pretty jewelry and lovely artwork! I bought one of my favorite pieces of jewelry here. Great place for a Sunday afternoon!

A very historic place originally a CONVENT GARDEN , used for produce growing. Then obviously over time it became a market. Now it has become a tourist attraction . Street performers , stalls , shops and not for getting the transport museum which is well worth a visit. The site is in a square which makes navigation easy , near... More

For business or for pleasure, always amazing. This place is full of life. Within couple of minutes to Leicester Square. Unfortunately my favourite restaurant is closed (Chez Gerard) but you can still find a great places to dine with friends and family like Spohies (great value for money) or Brasserie Blanc (expensive but with a great views) Recommending to all.

Covent Garden is the place for souvenirs, shopping, dining, or street entertainers. I always have to check out the escape artist or the musicians. Covent Garden is also loaded with security, so tourists are relatively save in all the chaos.

Ended up here after deciding to go out for the afternoon.Took the train from Norwood Junction to London Bridge and changed to Jubilee line. Arrived Covent Gardens around 40 mins later to street attractions, magicians, dancers.Lots to see and the market is quite quirky. Haggling skills leave a lot to be desired so ended up paying £2.00 for a trinket to... More

Took my family here, they came from Australia. We walked everywhere. They loved all the street artists, little shops and a great selection of stalls.
