A very popular spot and as you would expect very crowded on weekends. But worth the trip both to the halls and the market stalls. There is something for everyone including street entertainers.

If you enjoy cute little stalls, antiques, rare finds, and wee markets, this is the place for you. I have bought antique jewellery from here, found things from my childhood I never ever thought I would see again... It's very quaint! Always visit Covent Garden...More

When in London, be sure to visit Covent Garden. It is a quaint area with tons of shops, bakeries, performers, theater, restaurants, etc. There is so much to do. The James Bond Museum is located here as well and we enjoyed our visit there.

In years past, Covent Garden was always a favorite spot as there is so much going on in and around the area. It had been awhile since my last visit and though I found my way there, it seemed not as interesting as it once...More

This is still a tourist hot spot - or trap, depending on your point of view. There is lots going on, with "free" street entertainment (you are encouraged to put something in the performer's hat if you like what s/he is doing - yesterday it...More

I've been to London several times but always missed Covent Garden. It is quaint and quirky, a little haven away from the busy strand. The only downside really was the street entertainer sort of telling you how much his act was worth, surely this is...More

Lots of shops, vendors, restaurants and entertainers packed in a small area. Definitely worth at least one visit to take it all in, and you'll probably pass through there on your way elsewhere. Loved a five-woman folk group that performs most mid-days, doing all types...More

On paper I thought I'd love this place but find it busy and shops a little underwhelming. It's good for lunch on the courtyard vibe and the musicians playing in the background who were fantastic. If you like street entertainment it's good. If you want...More

We sat outside in the sun with a cold drink and watched the street performers. There is a very relaxed atmosphere. Loads of shops, food and drink establishments to choose from. Covent Garden is a must see, especially on a warm day.
