I had planned to visit here from Australia before I left and I’m so glad we did. A lovely respite from busy London, we did three rubbings and had a drink and a bite to eat. All the staff were fantastic and we found taking...More

My parents have brass rubbings from 50 years ago, back when you could actually rub authentic church floor carvings. I was always fascinated by them and disappointed that I would never get to do it. I found this place by accident and was thrilled to...More

This was a nice something different to do while in London. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It's next to the cafe in the crypt which was a nice lunch spot afterward. The kids enjoyed the activity.

While I don't foresee a future as a brass rubber for me due to obvious lack of patience and skills, I really did enjoy this. There were several brasses to choose from at various costs (starting at just 4.5 pounds). We selected a brass, got...More

Brass rubbing in the Crypt of St Martin in the Fields seemed a really good idea. The staff were helpful and friendly and the demonstration was clear. There was a wide choice of brasses to do, for a range of prices, and with the seat...More

Located downstairs beside the very cool crypt of St. Martins In The Fields Church in Trafalgar Square, this is a cool experience that few people know about...even locals! Choose the brass tablet of your choice, grab a glass of wine from the great cafe next...More

We did a brass rubbing each and they were interesting but much more difficult than I imagined. I picked the dragon, apparently things with less detail are much easier, like a lady in a dress or somethin, straighter lines easier to rub. All in all...More
