My wife and I met with a group from the Marylebone Birdwatching Society at the Parliament Hill staff yard and we had a lovely rambling walk all around Hampstead Heath. At the top of Parliament Hill is a phenomenal view of London. The birding was quite good and it was great having a walk through mature oak woods so close... More

One of the great place to see nature in London, with a variety of landscapes, excellent view points - actually the highest point in London is near the White Pond - you can walk for hours. Do not forget to see Kenwood House and all the paintings + excellent teas at adjoining tea house

This is my favorite park in all London, Not only Hampstead is a great neighborhood, but this park is so big and with a flora so lush, it makes the perfect forest in the city.

This part is truly beautiful, you have areas of wilderness and nicely kept gardens, sports fields and ponds, everything topped with the best views on London.

Big, green, family orientated, and with a nice view of London from the top. Cafe and toilet facilities. It was a cold day and still beautiful. Different sports going on on a Sunday, lots of people walking their dogs or jogging. Lovely atmosphere. Great for a chilled out outdoor experience.

London has so many parks and they are all great and loved by the locals and visitors as well. When you are on a short trip, it might be a bit off the grid from your time. But it is so quiet and beautiful all year around. This city rains a lot. The paths on the park are very muddy.... More

If you want to take a rest from busy London, this is the place to be. Bus 24 drives you from that busy heart (Trafalgar Square) right to this green heart. If nature gets to much, their are also many shops near Hampstead Heath.

Whether it be summer or winter, I love visiting Hampstead Heath. It's A great place for walking but you can just as easily sit on a bench and chill out. It is clean and respected by other visitors to the park .
