Londoners have always loved their 'Ally Pally', as they call it lovingly, and they still do! It was built as a 'theatre for the people' in Victorian days, named after her daughter-in-law, the future queen Alexandra. It has housed theatrical and musical performances of all...More

I have been to a few concerts at the Ally Pally now and have never been disappointed. When visiting in the summer I would suggest heading up early and enjoy sitting out in the gardens and experience the views over London.

This is a top venue for a band such as Fat Freddy's Drop. Security were nice, crowd was considerate and the band.. INSANE! A great venue for these guys, 7000+ people in one room, what's not to like?

A friendly market with plenty of samples to try. Stall holders very helpful. Easy to get around. Only drawback was lack of toilets which even the stall holders confirmed. Parking is easy and free. Really enjoyable and unmissable experience.

Watched a gig here recently and the quality of sound was unreal. Lovely venue but the distance between it and everything else isn't great unfortunately. But how can that be marked as a negative plus busses were running back and forth

Alexander Palace is in North Londen. Many inexpensive B&B places in Crouch End or Muswell Hill. All are suitable to walk to Alexandre Palace. Good luck.
