This world famous and singularly striking modern building, exterior clad in glass and gleaming stainless steel, with its services (including staircases and lifts, and ductwork, electrical power conduits and water pipes) exposed on the outside, is an architectural icon. It is, like the famous and...More

Just to look at this building from the outside is awesome. Was working nearby so had a look. The building is quirky and almost space ship looking. Worth a look for the quirkiness.

Although somewhat dated it is an iconic building and sits in the heart of the square mile of insurance and reinsurance companies. The Gurkin and Cheese-grater buildings alongside.

Came across by chance as part of a good old wander around - and this building 'grabs' - we were amazed by its design - almost inside-out. Definitely worth some time for a visit...

This is building is the homeland of the insurance industry and worthy of a tour whenever you get a chance to visit London. Tradition mixed with modernity on display.

Rated poor as personally I think this is the most ugly building I've ever seen. It looks more like an oil refinery than an office block. If however you're into architecture then it's definitely worth checking out. Just look for the big ugly steel exterior...More
