We were lucky when we visited as the Canaletto exhibition is great and, I feel, worth the entry fee. However I think it is important to check what is on before you go as, without permanent "star" exhibits such as those found at the National...More

As we had a Royal day out pass from last September, we decided to come back as we stamped our tickets last time we left, thus allowing us to visit these locations without paying anything. What a brilliant idea: and yesterday the young girl at...More

OK but not worth the money you pay to go in. It is small with a very limited selection. Skip this one and go to the free National Gallery instead.

I guess it depends what is on at the gallery although there is always something of interest. It must be one of London's best gallerys. We saw a Canaletto exhibition which was stunning. Beautifully kept gallery with charming assistants

If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a
grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to
start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster
Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square,
and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham
Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just
up the road as well. As captivating as the
architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are
