Magnificent but manageable historic home to visit when you are in London. Rich history, paintings and furnishings- all explained knowledgeably and enthusiastically by the many volunteer guides. Fabulous visit- highly recommended.

This house is on Hampstead Heath, a mecca for dogs which has no other cafe. I had a small and very well behaved dachshund x Jack Russell with me and - as we had already been out for some time, I fancied a cup of...More

I have been coming to Kenwood House for maybe 40 years but have not been inside for maybe 5 since it has been refurbished. I noticed a number of differences especially the library which has been redecorated (an outstanding interior) and opened up for closer...More

The above are all good advice. I actually walked from Hampstead tube station which is a moderately long walk (took us about 1/2 hour I think) but very pleasant, right across the heath. This also gave us the excuse, as if we... More
