Covered arcade off of Piccadilly. Lots of choice of art, jewellery and clothing. All high end. Great way to spend some time browsing and window shopping.

This is how London looks in the imagination of tens of millions of potential tourists and whilst walking through this arcade, just past the RA on Piccadilly, it becomes a reality. Not that I can afford a thing in here but it's delightful to stroll down nonetheless!

Very quaint, arcade running of Piccadilly. Small little boutiques, mainly jewellery, mainly expensive, but well worth a look as they had some boutiques selling different thinks like quirky cuff links etc.

This is a sizeable shopping arcade which has lots of shops offering clothing, accessories, jewelry, art, and a variety of inconsequential articles for those who have everything. Great fun on any kind of day.

I had just a little time to wander through this part of London. With more time I would maybe enter some of the sparkling shops within the passage. At least for some "window shopping".

It must be nearly 40 years since I wandered through Burlington Arcade in Piccadilly and I wished I hadn't left it so long. A real London tradition although largely for the tourists, there are some shops of real interest, we spent some time poring over the wonderful old Rolex watches in Vintage Watch and considered treating our wives to some... A lovely place to saunter through looking at the expensive, quality shops! This arcade links Bond Street with Piccadilly. Just behind and turn right brings you to the famous Saville Row where you can walk along looking down into the basements where the tailors are making the famous Saville Row bespoke suits.

The Burlington Arcade is a beautiful covered shopping arcade which is well worth a visit if you are in the area. It contains a selection of small luxury shops, particularly jewellery shops. A short walk from Green Park tube station and several Piccadilly attractions such as Fortnum and Mason and the Royal Academy of Arts.

One of the longest arcades I have ever visited!! Lots of nice independent shops with lovely window displays. Seemed to feature several jewellers and bespoke perfume shops. Worth a look to see something not on the high street and beautiful Christmas decorations.

This slice of London history never fails to excite and amuse, especially decked out in its Christmas finery. Extraordinary collection of luxury retailers. Crammed with tourists of course, but worth fighting your way through them to window shop for all those things you not only can't afford, but would never need!

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
