An interesting and enjoyable walk down towards the Houses of Parliament, passing Downing Street on the way. The buildings are impressive and well protected by the security measures where bollards have been placed along the edges of the roads. Keep walking and admire Big Ben...More

Whitehall runs from Trafalgar Square to Westminster and is the place of the Government offices including No.10 Downing Street, the Cabinet Office and various Ministries as well as private clubs. Dull, grey buildings are the norm.

Very intesting road to walk along at heart of government. Not as busy as other central London areas and great walk from Trafalgar Square to Westminster

Whitehall contains all the important government buildings that control many areas of the government with the Houses of Parliament at the end of Whitehall and downing street within it as well as memorials all down the sides of this important area and street
