Visited as an away fan recently, not bad ground at all. Like that the away fans are in a completely different stand to the home fans. Big screen up our end which for a current league 1 club was nice to have. 2 mins walk from the train station which was handy. Helpful stewards, clean facilities. Only downside for me... More

Nice stadium, good views, a little slow at the bar but Southend did take over 2500 supporters, chicken balti pie was delicious. Helpful stewards all in all a good place, shame about the result.

We wanted to see something different than the well-polished, extremely expensive premiere leauge. The choise was Charlton and hat a crowd. These people are fans by the heart. Do you self a favor. Walk through Charlton home, there you see what England is made off :)

As football grounds go Charlton Athletic is one of the better ones. The staff are efficient and friendly and this is a good welcoming family club. As with all league football grounds the food and drinks on offer are a bit limited and pricey . If you enjoy football played in a hostile free atmosphere Charlton Athletic is well worth... More

A very impressive stadium by League One standards. The away fans are housed in the oldest of the stands, but even though the rake is a bit shallow and there is a pillar in the middle the view is pretty good. Not a lot of room between the seats though. There seemed to be a large police presence with the... More

I had a great day because I saw my team beat Charlton. When I went to get some food, they only hot food they had was a choice of 3 pies - all weird flavors that youngsters and children may not like. There was no choice of anything normal like chips or even a plain burger.

Great Club, Great Ground. Love "The Valley" football ground. Annoying owners of the club though. Support "CARD".

Been to Charlton for about 800 football matches. Once the biggest ground in England apart from Wembley, it is now a tidy compact stadium that hold about 27,000. Traditionally a very friendly club with much engagement with the fan base and possibly the best community sport scheme anywhere in Britain. What can I say about the state of Charlton in... More

It's hard to know where to start when describing the continuing calamity that is the current ownership and management of a once great comunity club. Charlton Athletic was never the most successful or glamorous club, but what made it special was the feeling that the owners, directors, management and supporters were all on the same side. Many of the players were... More
