I've actually seen this play twice. The first time, we didn't have a detailed expectation & we were overwhelmed by the whole theatrical experience. To say that the horses are 'puppets' doesn't begin to express how amazing they are. Even with the puppeteers in full...More

Went to see this spectacular show last night. It's a phenomenon. The connection between man and horse is depicted with strength and depth that cannot fail to impress and stir the emotions. A must see. 🐴🐎

Words don't really describe this show. It was simply brilliant. My fiancée and I have seen many shows in London and this is right up there with the best (probably the best). You won't be disappointed.

This show is utterly amazing, the horse is so life like and moves like a real horse. A factual insight into the life of the horse cavalry in the Second World War. One of my favourite west end shows

To date, this is still the best show I've ever seen (and I've seen a lot). A truly incredible performance. I balled my eyes out at the end, which is a compliment considering It takes a lot for me to cry. Such a clever clever...More

I had to go twice to this Moving story. I was captivated by the "Horses" and completely drawn into the horror that the poor horses in the first world war underwent. I forgot that the horses on stage were not real-- I thought the whole...More

Thought I would be smart and buy end seats so it would be easy to come and go. Spent a lot of the night looking at the rear end of the horse. I thought it was very slow and the music was not inspiring

Not often I am moved to write reviews, but this is an epic show that deserves as many verbal accolades heaping upon it as is humanly possible. However, I lack the vocabulary grand enough to do it suitable justice, therefore I will say only this...go...More

I work in Covent Garden surrounded by theatres and whenever people ask for a recommendation I say war horse. Best. Play. Ever. The horses are wooden and moved by actors. After 5 minutes you no longer see the actors, and it's literally like there's horses...More

I was a bit unsure about this show when my son bought me tickets for my birthday. Went along and took me a bit of time to get used to the horse being animated/managed by a young man. However, I got so drawn into the...More

Kinky boots if it is still on! Monty python if you know their work, great stage adaptation of the film. There are literally hundreds of plays to see, if you want great drama, war horse - unbelievable stage production. Enjoy!!
